Victoria is a healthcare professional with over 20 years’ experience in public health, hospital, skilled nursing and clinical research. She excels at discipline, drive, organization and problem-solving. Her profound interest in finding and creating solutions led her wanting to tackle the continuous problem she faced in her various roles in ophthalmic clinical research, the lack of skilled ophthalmic personnel that also understood the regulations of clinical research. Using her love of virtual systems, she founded Atlas Acuity to create a place for ophthalmic technicians and clinical research coordinators to further develop their knowledge of the field.

In the clinical realm, Jessica has worked as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician at Carolina Ophthalmology Associates, where she performed comprehensive eye exams and managed patient care. Jessica has also contributed to significant clinical trials at Duke University Medical Center, demonstrating exceptional patient communication and coordination skills.

Transitioning into the field of e-learning, Jessica collaborated with Atlas Acuity to develop engaging online courses for ophthalmic clinical research, leveraging her background in videography to enhance the learning experience.

As the founder of Berkowitz Photography, Jessica has specialized in commercial and portrait photography, providing high-quality visuals for a variety of clients. Her expertise in advanced lighting techniques and post-production ensures each project meets the highest standards.
